Vote for America

The Election is in one week.  This is what I am going to vote for:
·       Individual freedom and responsibility
·       Law and order
·       The Constitution
·       Equal justice for ALL Americans
·       A strong economy
·       Jobs
·       Equal opportunity for ALL Americans
·       Eliminating unfair and unneeded regulations
·       Reducing taxes
·       Reduce poverty and welfare
·       Strong border security including the wall
·       Immigration reform
·       Fair trade policies
·       Respect from foreign relations
·       Eliminate terrorists
·       Eliminate nuclear threats
·       Stop supporting the world
·       A smaller federal government
·       Eliminate and prosecute partisan deep state crimes
·       Put America first

Obviously, I am not a single issue voter, but I can vote for everything shown above.  It’s simple.  A Republican vote is a vote for Trump.  In the last two years we have made tremendous strides toward all of these objectives.
Two years ago, the American people showed the political elite, the deep state, the media, and big money that they could not control the election.  They are all still in shock and disbelief.  They are still trying to control the American people with fake news propaganda, division politics, and mobs.  Let’s show them that these tactics no longer work.

“Trump did not bring division.  Division brought Trump.
If you don’t see that, then you’re part of the problem.”

God bless President Trump and guide him to make America great again.

A Mob

My Webster New World dictionary defines “mob” as: a disorderly and lawless crowd; rabble.  This certainly fits the radical left’s demonstrations that have been seen on TV.
The lame-stream media says we should not call these demonstrators a mob in spite of the fact that they fit the definition.  The media seems to think it is not politically correct to call them a mob because they are just passionate about their cause.
I am fed up with this political correctness BS and I’m not alone.  I recently saw a survey that said over 80% of the people in this country agree with me.
I am amazed with the Antifa protests.  Antifa is short for anti-fascists, so they dress up in costumes, hide their faces, and act like fascists.  This is nuts, but the lame-stream media don’t want to call them a mob.
Politicians like Maxine encourage left-wing radicals to harass conservatives any time they are seen in public.  How do they think physically and verbally assaulting someone is going to change their mind?  Liberals say they want open discussions, yet they act like thugs.
I about lost it when I heard a left-wing radical compare these mobs to the tea party gatherings.  Tea party rallies were calm and organized with all the proper permits.  The media called these rallies racist in spite of the fact the key-note speaker was black at two rallies where I spoke.
There was no damage to property or destructive behavior with the tea party.  Everyone cleaned up after themselves.  You could not even find a cigarette butt on the ground after a tea party rally.
        Hilary Clinton recently said:
“You can’t be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you are about.  That’s why I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and/or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again.”  Hillary sounds like a spoiled child that will throw a fit if she doesn’t get her way.  How does this change anyone position?
Democrats need to start promoting an agenda that is good for the country instead of taking offense at everything. Mob tactics and anti-Trump temper tantrums do nothing to further their cause.

God bless President Trump and guide him to make America great again.

The Independent Voter

On August 4, 2015 I wrote a bog titled The 6%.  I mentioned how Presidential candidate Mitt Romney made an off-the-record statement that 47% of the voters would never vote for him.  He got a lot of bad press when a live mike picked up this statement.
This was just a statement of fact.  In the past every Presidential candidate faced the reality that people loyal to the Republican Party or the Democratic Party will vote for their party’s candidate regardless of qualifications.
Some people even vote based on a candidate’s race, sex, or religion.  There are also people who vote because of the promise of free stuff or a government job.
Let’s be realistic for a moment.  President Obama would have lost both elections by a large margin if he had not carried over 90% of both the black and Muslim vote.  Race and religion were the determining factors in those two elections.  Identity politics worked.
Some people vote based on what their spouse, parents, educators, celebrities, movie stars, musicians, sports stars, or their peer group thinks.  They want to fit in with their peer group or associate with the people they admire.
Millions are spent on false advertising because many less-informed voters are susceptible to that type of propaganda which the lame-stream media also helps to spread.  The political elite will continue identity politics to court special interest voters as long as it works.  I hope that time is past.
The sad fact is that identity politics has nothing to do with the candidate’s qualifications, experience, agenda, ethics, or leadership.  Every candidate will promise they are for jobs, the economy, the working middle class, but this promise usually lasts only until they get to Washington.  Then it became big government as usual.
For all these reasons, in August of 2015 I thought a Presidential candidate from either party would have 47% of the voters who would never vote for him or her regardless of how qualified he or she might be.  Combined, that meant 94% of the voters were committed, and only 6% of the voters determined our next President.  I was wrong.
The truly independent voter since the 2016 election accounts for much more than 6% of the voters.  The reason is that the country’s working class is fed up with the political elite, the Washington establishment, the deep state, the globalist agenda, and identity politics.  People wanted to make America great again.  People turned out to vote for Donald Trump who had not voted for decades.
Most of the polls were wrong, and most political commentators did not see it coming.  People are tired of dividing the country with race and gender.  It doesn’t work any more.  They want what is best for ALL Americans.  People are fed up.
In less than a month we will have one of the most important mid-term elections in the history of our country.  The political commentators keep talking about the Democrats and Republicans energizing their base.  They are missing the big picture.  Independent voters are the key, and they amount to much more than 6%.
The questions are simple.  Do we continue to make America great or do we go back to the deep state and Washington establishment with a globalist agenda?  Do we vote for results or resistance?

God bless President Trump and guide him to make America great again.

Emotion & Perception

Marla often points out how naive I am because I draw conclusions and make decisions based on facts and logic.  She points out how many people do not let facts get in the way of their perception if the facts don't support their ideas.  She is right, but it still frustrates me.
Many people let their emotions and perception control their opinions in many ways.  These include career choices, personal decisions, life style, how they spend their money, and politics.
I am on our country economic development board.  The major problem in our area right now is finding and hiring employees at all levels.  People who have been born, raised and educated in western Wisconsin say they would love to return here to live, but there is no work for them.  That perception is not true.  The facts are, they could find a job, move back, have a lower cost of living, a higher quality of life with many recreational options, and most likely get an increase in pay.  How do we change their perception with the facts?
I think most people will agree there is not a lot of logic in how we choose our life partners.  Love is emotion, but it does have a way of working out most of the time.
As a coach/consultant for people looking for their own business I often see people make decisions based on emotion and perception.  This too often leads to failure.  That is the reason I wrote Business Fits: How to find the right business for you!
In Business Fits, I have a chapter on price.  I discuss how quality and price are not directly related, but the consumer often perceives a product or service as one of higher quality because it is higher priced.  This is often not true.
In politics there is not enough common sense.  Too much is based on emotion and not on the facts.  Too much is a scramble for party power with zero consideration for the American people.  I am concerned every time I see a vote in the US House or Senate that is 100% along party lines.  These Representatives and Senators should be representing the people who elected them and not the Washington establishment.  Party loyalty should come after loyalty to the American people.
The people of this country are fed up with party politics and the Washington elite.  That is why they elected President Trump.  He is following the people’s mandate, not the Party’s.  Look at what he has accomplished.  I am hopeful the Republican Party is getting the picture.  I am not so sure about the Democratic Party.  Their only agenda remains Never Trump.

God bless President Trump and guide him to make America great again.

Sexual Assault

I am glad I am not running for office (I don't think County Supervisor counts) or that I'm up for some political appointments.  There are some things in my past that could be a problem.
When I was in kindergarten, Mary Anne Holt and I went missing.  The school even called out parents.  We were found asleep together under a table.  Did I assault her in some way?  Maybe I spiked her juice or milk.
In junior high school I sat with Sally Dawson in one of the rear seats of the school bus on the way home from an evening event.  It was dark and there was some kissing, necking, and petting.  Did I take advantage of her?  I don’t think so, but would the Democrats agree?  I’m pretty sure she was more experienced and aggressive than me.  Enough of my sexual exploits.
I watched the entire day of Judge Kavanaugh’s and Dr. Ford’s testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday.  It was the most disgusting display of unethical partisan politics I have ever seen.
I believe Dr. Ford did at some time experience a sexual assault like the one she described.  But the facts clearly prove that Judge Kavanaugh was not involved.  He has a diary/appointment book showing his activities that summer, and all three of the witnesses Dr. Ford said were present deny the event ever happened.
We need to look at some facts.  The Democrats have stated from before Judge Kavanaugh was nominated that they would do everything possible to block any nomination by President Trump.  They have had a policy of delay, disrupt, and destroy at every opportunity.  I expected that, but I did not realize how low they would go.
Dr. Ford is talking about an event that happened 36 years ago with no supporting evidence.  She cannot say when, where, how she got there, or how she got home.  She is a psychology professor at a liberal California university.  She is a Democrat and a Never Trumper.  She is a feminist and active in women’s movements including the Me Too movement.
One of the most stupid things I have heard is the statement that she must be telling the truth because why would she lie?  That is easy to answer.  Book deals, fame, and fortune might be part of it.  He GoFundMe account is now over $700.000.
I do feel sorry for Dr. Ford because the Democrats have used her, manipulated her, and treated her badly.  They gave little or no considerations for her wishes.  Senator Feinstein recommended attorneys for Dr. Ford and those attorneys failed to tell her that the Senate committee was willing to come to California to talk to her.  That would have protected Dr. Ford, but would not have created a media circus for the Democrats.  Who are Dr. Ford’s attorneys really working for?
Senator Feinstein could have had Dr. Ford’s story vetted by the committee and kept Ford’s identity secret if she wanted, but instead Feinstein held the letter and then it was mysteriously leaked to the media.  Judge Kavanaugh’s ten year-old daughter said “We should pray for the lady,” referring to Dr. Ford.
I have stated in several blogs that we should not be too critical of the Democratic Party because we need two political parties.  But the unethical, disgusting, and despicable behavior of the Senate minority leader and the Democrats on the Judicial Committee cannot be tolerated.
This kind of con game tactics using unsubstantiated sexual or racial accusations hurts woman, all minorities, and the country.  It cannot be tolerated and must stop.  If Democrats continue with these kinds of unethical political tactics, the Democratic Party needs to go the way of the Whig Party and be replaced with a second political party that actually works in the best interests of the people.

God bless President Trump and guide him to make America great again.
