Getting Fired

I don’t like getting fired, and in most cases, I don’t like firing people.  As the CEO of a small business, I once fired myself.  Being laid off sounds better, but the result is the same.
In collage, I worked as night and weekend manager for a full service Standard Oil gas station.  I didn’t always follow the rules and the owner was always firing me.  One day he made me mad and I didn’t go to work that night.  Shortly after my shift started he called me at home asking why I was not at work.  When I said, “You fired me,” his response was, “I fire you all the time.  That’s no excuse for not coming to work.”  I told him I was taking the night off and would be in the next day.
The Democrats are trying to fire President Trump with a coup to overthrow an election and the Constitution.  They have wasted tax payer money with closed and open hearings into impeaching Trump.  This investigation is a joke and I hope the Democrats will put an end to it, but I know they won’t.  They will continue until they come up with the next hoax to frame Trump for something.
They need to be a little more inventive.  So far all the things they have accused Trump of are crimes that some Democrat or establishment bureaucrat has already committed.
None of the witnesses in the open hearings had any first-hand knowledge.  They all were career foreign service diplomats or ambassadors.  Some had been removed from their position.  In other words they had been fired.
The one thing they all had in common was that they had their feelings hurt.  If they were still in the same position, they felt slighted because President Trump had not consulted with them or kept them informed of what he was doing.  Their feelings were hurt and they were lashing out at Trump.  These people are a bunch of snowflakes and should never serve in something as important as foreign service.
All federal government bureaucrats serve at the pleasure of the President and he has every right to fire them at any time.  He does not need a reason.  President Obama fired every ambassador named by Bush immediately after being sworn into office and told them to have their office cleaned out.  Ambassador Yovanvitch was replaced because the new President of Ukraine wanted her gone.
Foreign policy is set by the President.  It is not set by unelected career diplomats.  They can give advice if asked, but do not have the right to question or not follow the President’s policy.  If they don’t agree with the President’s policy they should show some moral character and resign.
Elections do have consequences, and thank God for President Donald Trump.  He has done more for this country and our relationship with the rest of the world than any President from either political party in decades.

God bless President Trump and guide him to make America great again.

Trump is Too Nice

Some people despised the President.  He had been called a simple Susan, a baboon, an aimless punster, a smutty jokester, a huckster in politics, and first-rate, second-rate man.  These comments came from his from his associates.  He probably should have been impeached.  I am not talking about President Trump.  I am talking about Abraham Lincoln.  Surprised?
President Trump has been called much worse, and is the victim of a planned coup to undo the 2016 election and overthrow the government.  Trump never retaliates except with words and tweets.  I love some of the nicknames he gives people.  His worst offense is to call out the lame-stream fake news when they put out lies.
President Obama used the FBI and the IRS against reporters when they reported something he did not like.  The media reacted by treating President Obama like the messiah.
Hillary Clinton, the Democratic National Committee, and the Obama administration used the intelligence community, and agents of foreign governments to derail an American election by illegally spying on a Presidential candidate an then a Presidential administration.
President Lyndon B. Johnson used the FBI and IRS against political opponents.  President John F. Kennedy used the FBI and IRS against political opponents.  President Franklin D. Roosevelt used the IRS against reporters.
Both President Lincoln and President Wilson imprisoned journalists, restricted freedom of the press, and freedom of speech.  Wilson arrested 2,000 men and woman with 1,200 going to jail for “disloyal speech.”
President Franklin D. Roosevelt controlled radio broadcasts and banned any broadcast that was critical of any policy of the administration.  He did the same with newspapers.
All past Presidents have made extensive use of Executive Privilege to hide and protect many of their actions.  President Trump has not done any of these things and is without question the most transparent President in over seventy years.
No President has ever been attacked like President Trump.  In spite of this, he has achieved more for the country in the last three years than any other President has done in eight years.
President Trump is guilty of promising to drain the swamp, and unlike most politicians, he keeps his promises.  The American people were fed up with government as usual, and elected him President.  This scares the heck out of the establishment and the rich political elite because they can’t control him.
President Trump puts the interests of the American people ahead of the rich globalists elites.

God bless President Trump and guide him to make America great again.

Unfredom of the Press

I recommend Mark Levin’s book, Unfreedom of the Press, but I must warn you that it is not a light or an easy read.  The facts it holds are totally accurate and supported with 28 pages of footnotes.
        The seven chapters are:
1.   News as a Political and Ideological Activism
2.   The Early Patriot Press
3.   The Modern Democratic Press
4.   The Real Threat to Press Freedom
5.   News, Propaganda, and Pseudo-Events
6.   The New York Times Betrays Millions
7.   The Truth About Collusion, Abuse of Power, and Character

Levin’s closing paragraph in the book is:
Therefore, as I said in the opening, this book is intended to, among other things, “jump-start a long overdue and hopefully productive dialogue among the American citizenry on how best to deal with the complicated and complex issue of the media’s collapsing role as a bulwark of liberty, the civil society, and republicanism.”

When I was in school, I was taught good journalism was the four Ws of Who, What, When, and Where.  There was no why, interpretation, or opinion.  After I have listened to a speech, I find it insulting to have some talking-head tell me their interpretation of it.  I am capable of making my own conclusions.
Today most journalists don’t report the news.  They have their own political agendas and then look for stories that support them.  If they can’t find those stories, they manufacture some.
One of the biggest lies is how the press avoids any news that does not support their political agenda.  These omissions are an indirect lie.  Levin gives some great examples, including the REAL science on climate change that is totally ignored by the media.
Our founding fathers felt a free press was essential to ensuring the survival of our democratic republic.  Today, many journalists have become the propaganda arm of globalists, and the left. They no longer report the news.
I am a news junky.  I used to watch two or three of ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, and FOX every morning.  I first dropped NBC after Obama was elected as it became the the government station.  Next I quit watching MSNBC, and CNN when they became the propaganda arm of the left.  I still watch ABC and CBS for local news, but even that is so slanted that I often have to change the channel in disgust.  That leaves only FOX for “Fair and Balanced” reporting.
Why would anyone believe anything from a media that calls the world’s #1 terrorist a “religious scholar”, or calls our crisis at the border “manufactured” when it is costing 70,000 American lives every year, or defames a young man wearing a MAGA cap who has done nothing wrong, or support an attorney for a so-called whistle blower who tweeted years ago that he was working towards a coup to impeach President Trump and CNN would play an important role.
I understand that people (including me) don’t like to admit when they are wrong, but at some point rational people have to get over the Trump Derangement Syndrome and accept the results of the 2016 election.  This illegal coup to overthrow an election, the Constitution, and the vote of the people must stop.

God bless President Trump and guide him to make America great again.

Impeachment & The Constitution

The Constitution provides the option of removing someone from office by impeachment for “high crimes and misdemeanors.”  Some of the founding fathers were concerned about the impeachment process because they were afraid it would be misused for political and partisan reasons.  Their concerns were warranted.
The process is quite simple.  There must be specific crimes.  The entire House then votes to impeach.  The impeachment trial is then conducted in the Senate.
What the Democrats in the House are doing now is turning the entire criminal justice system upside-down and giving the finger to the Constitution.  The current vote to “formalize the impeachment inquiry” is unprecedented.
The first problem the democrats have is that there is no crime for which to impeach Trump.  The so-called whistle blower about the call between President Trump and the President of Ukraine is nothing but a partisan leaker who had no direct knowledge and had some of Adam Schiff’s staff attorneys write up the complaint.
Trump did nothing wrong.  In fact, he has an obligation under the National Corrupt Defense Act to investigate and not give any aid to corrupt nations.  We know that Ukraine did try to influence the 2016 election while working with Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee, but no one wants to investigate that.
Pelosi lied said impeachment must be nonpartisan.  The three previous times a President was impeached, there were specific crimes and it was nonpartisan.  Last weeks vote was totally partisan unless you count the two Democrats who voted with the Republicans to defeat the motion.
The motion gives Adam Schiff the power to veto witnesses, questions, and answers.  It does not give the President any opportunity to defend himself.  This sounds corrupt to me.  Schiff says no one is above the law, but apparently thinks he is. When did people in this country become guilty until proven innocent?
Adam Schiff is one of the most prolific liars in Washington.  He said he had clear evidence that Trump colluded with the Russians.  Where is it?
Schiff works behind closed doors and leaks lies while claiming to be transparent.  One of his best lies was last week when he said he took no joy in impeaching the President, but would not shrink from his Constructional duty.  What a crook of s___.
Democrats did not like the results of the 2016 election and have been intent on removing Trump from office since the day after the election.  First it was Russian and Mueller, with the last being the call with the Ukrainian President.  The problem is simply that Trump has not done a thing wrong.
President Trump is the most transparent President in history and has been vetted more than any other individual in history, and the Democrats can’t find anything to charge him with.  He even released the transcript of the phone call with the Ukrainian President, with his permission.
I agree with that decision, because any competent person can see the President did nothing wrong, however I disagree because it sets a dangerous precedent.  Every President must have the authority to have private conversations with other heads of state.  Removing this Presidential authority would be a dangerous blow to our national security.
This impeachment BS must stop, because it is tearing the country apart.  Congress needs to get back to doing their job.  Trump’s accomplishments are mind boggling, but think what he could do with a Congress that worked with him and did their job.

God bless President Trump and guide him to make America great again.
