Rotten Apples

        An old proverb states: “A rotten apple spoils the whole bunch.”  Many of us have seen how one rotten apple in a basket can cause all the apples to spoil.  The one bad apple must be removed to save the rest.

        This same principle is true with people.  One person’s words or actions can impact an entire group negatively, but we should also not condemn an entire group without trying to identify and eliminate the rotten apple or apples.

        This principle is valid in business.  When I took over as manager of a recreational vehicle manufacturing plant, I had to make a lot of changes fast.  I did identify a rotten apple in the plant and let him go.  This move improved morale and productivity. I later thought the individual had learned his lesson and hired him back.  It was a mistake.  I had to fire him again. 

        The principle is also true in government and politics.  There are many good people in the FBI, but a few rotten apples at the top have hurt the image of the FBI.  People like James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, and James Baker must be held accountable or they will spoil the credibility of the entire FBI. 

        There are many good people in the CIA, but rotten apples like John Brennan must be held accountable.  The Department of Justice must be held to a very high standard, and rotten apples like Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, and Bruce Ohr must be thrown out and held accountable.

        Many other rotten apples are spoiling the image of good government agencies and departments.   James Clapper in National Intelligence, Susan Rice as a National Security Advisor, and Lois Lerner in the IRS all must be held accountable.

        One of the worst rotten apples has to be Hillary Clinton in the State Department.  Considering all the scandals she has been involved with, how could she ever have been the Democratic nominee for President? 

        Most Democrats are good people.  I have many friends and relatives who are Democrats, but the Democratic Party has a big problem with rotten apples.  Left wing extremists like Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler, and “The Mob” seem to have taken over the Party.

        Republicans have a problem with rotten apples too.  What is the problem with RINOS (Republicans In Name Only) like Mitt Romney?  I find it hard to believe Republicans actually nominated him as their Presidential candidate in 2012.

        We have a real Constitutional crisis with corruption in government.  How high does this corruption go?  Did Obama know or had he lost all control?  This conduct must not be condoned or treated as old news or forgotten.  The truth must be revealed and the guilty held accountable so this political corruption by a few can never happen again.

Remember When

Do you remember when?

·       Politicians broke campaign promises, but didn’t make flagrant lies about their opponents.

·       Both Democrats and Republicans believed in the Constitution including the First and Second Amendments.

·       Politicians were more concerned with serving their constituents than their political donors.

·       Unelected bureaucrats actually served the people and were not corrupt political activists.

·       Congress believed in a balanced budget. 

·       The federal government did not want America to be the world’s police force.

·       You could address a group as ladies and gentlemen and not be criticized.

·       Our schools taught actual history and not social justice propaganda.

·       Our universities taught people how to think for themselves by teaching opposing views and not banning all conservative thought or speech.

·       Most journalists actually reported the news and were not “group think” propagandists.

·       Major news sources would never report a story from an undocumented and unverified anonymous source.

·       The days before long-term Democratic control destroyed some of our major urban areas.

·       The rich and powerful did not think they were above the law.

·       Congress actually did its job instead of just trying to overthrow a duly elected President.

·       Democrats believed in due process under the law.

·       Democrats could slander and smear Republicans and they just took it and  never fought back until Trump.

·       The federal government (prior to Trump) put Americans first.

Impeachment

President Trump will not be impeached for many reasons:

1.   He has not done anything wrong.

2.   Pelosi will not bring impeachment to a vote in the            House because it probably would not pass. 

3.   If she did bring it to a vote, the Republicans will also       have subpoena power and the Democrats don’t want     that.

4.   If it did pass the house, the trial would be in the Senate  and it would be dismissed quickly.

5. Trump has been the most transparent President in history. 

The swamp still can’t accept that Trump won the election and will keep on trying to overthrow that election.  They will continue to lie and slander the President.  They will continue to talk impeachment and come up with a new lie every month until Trump is reelected and they lose the House in 2020.  The media will continue the witch hunt even after the 2020 election.

Marla Madison, Suspense Writer

        The lady I live with is a suspense writer.  The deep state and the radical Democratic left should hire her. 

        Marla Madison is the author of; She’s Not There, Trespass, Girl Undone, The Way She Lied, Relative Malice, Iced Malice, Promise of Malice, and Season of Malice.  Her books are all a lot more believable than the hair-brained schemes the left and deep state have come up with in an effort to frame Trump. 

        The deep state and the political establishment are afraid of President Trump because he will not listen to them.  For decades, career politicians have gone to Washington poor and become millionaires.  Unelected Washington bureaucrats have been operating without supervision or control for years. Both are afraid Trump will change the corrupt establishment.  Candidate Trump promised to drain the swamp.  Will he succeed?

        Democrats and the partisan deep state did everything to make sure Trump was not elected.  Hillary and the Democratic National Committee washed money through a law firm to Fusion GPS to create a dossier to frame Trump.  They did not worry about getting caught because they never expected Trump to win.  This dossier was then used to commit fraud on FISA courts.  The list goes on and on.

        The dossier is credited to Christopher Steele, but it might be based on something Glenn Simpson wrote.  Glen Simpson, co-founder of Fusion GPS, and his wife, Mary Jacoby, wrote an article titled “How lobbyists helped former Soviet officials influence Washington” that was published in The Wall Street Journal on April 17, 2007.  The article and the dossier read a lot alike.  Neither is very believable.  Marla writing fiction could have done a much better job.

        There has been a new twist to remove President Trump from office every month since before Trump took office.  It is clearly an attempted coup to overthrow a duly elected President.  This is a clear violation of the Constitution and ignores the will of the people. 

        The last attempt is the whistle blower.  This is an absolute joke.  Until this summer a whistle blower had to have first-hand information.  The rules were changed last summer to allow second-hand and third-hand information and hearsay.  The complaint is from a CIA agent that is a registered Democrat, but was obviously written by one or more attorneys.  Congressman Adam Schiff knew all about the whistle blower complaint before it was even submitted.  This is not only a joke, but criminally corrupt.  Marla would never have a plot this unbelievable.

        Someone said the whistle blower scam was a last-ditch effort to remove Trump from office, but I think they will have a new one next month. The deep state and the radical Democrat left should definitely hire Marla for the next attempt to frame and remove President Trump.  She could make up a much more believable story. 

        There is just one problem.  Marla is a strong Trump supporter, and she would refuse the job.

ICE, the Real Story

        Trump’s #1 campaign promise was to secure our southern border.  Build the wall became a campaign slogan.  The left and the deep state will do anything to try to keep our duly elected President from winning.  They want him to fail at any cost and have no problem hurting Americans, including children, to achieve that goal. 

        The left and the media advocate open boarders and abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).  Tom Homan is the former director of ICE.  Here are some facts he gives:

·       In one year, ICE seized enough opioids to kill every man, woman, and child in the country TWICE.

·       ICE rescued 14,000 children that were put in danger by pedophiles, criminals, cartels, and coyotes. 

·       ICE saved hundreds of women from sex traffickers.

·       90% of all illegals arrested by ICE have prior criminal records or are awaiting trial on pending charges.

·       30% of all children coming into the country illegally are not with a family member.

·       30% of all women coming into the country illegally have been raped on the journey.

·       20% of all illegals entering the country have a prior criminal history.

·       ICE works closely with the FBI and ATF to prevent terrorists and gun trafficking. 

        The left and the media don’t like facts and accuse ICE agents of being racist, but ICE agents are only enforcing the laws Congress has passed.  If anyone is racist, it is Congress for passing the laws.  Unfortunately, Congress does not want to do its job and deal with immigration reform.

        If someone harbors a criminal, they are committing a crime and can be prosecuted.  Why are officials of sanctuary cities and states not committing a crime when they harbor illegal criminals?  Sanctuary cities and states are violating federal law.  Why aren’t they prosecuted?

        The left is in favor of a big federal government that controls every aspect of our lives, but consider sanctuary cities a matter of states rights.  We had a war over this issue of states rights and the Confederacy lost.

        Sanctuary cities put immigrant communities and ICE agents in danger.  Leftist politicians don’t care because they don’t live in these communities and they don’t care about the people.  The lame-stream media doesn’t even cover all the atrocities committed by MS13 and other gangs that are in this country illegally.

            President Trump sums it up better than I ever could.  Here is his message to open border advocates:

Your policies are cruel and evil.  You are empowering criminal organizations that prey on innocent men, women, and children.  You put your own sense of virtue before the lives and well being of countless innocent people.  When you undermine border security, you are undermining human rights and human dignity.
