Why do people hate Trump?

        Some people say they hate his policies, but when asked for specifics, all they can say is that they hate all his policies.  They can never give any specifics that are backed up with facts.  The facts are that Trump has done more for this country in eighteen months than any President in modern times has done in four or eight years.

        I have heard people say they just don’t like who he is.  Who is he?  He’s not a politician.  He ran for President because he was a patriot concerned with where the country was headed. 

        Some people say they don’t like how he treats people.  He treats all people equally and treats them as they deserve.  He might not be tactful, but he is always fair.

        He is often called a racist, but this can not be backed up with any facts.  People who accuse him of racism twist his words and make huge assumptions.   After President Obama, I find it refreshing to have a President who is not racist. 

        I seldom agree with anything Nancy Pelosi says, but I agree with her when she said the last thing we want in our intelligence community is partisanship.  She is trying to put that on Trump for considering pulling the security clearances of corrupt individuals in federal law enforcement and intelligence. 

        The facts are clear that Trump should pull the clearances for the following corrupt individuals:

·       Former CIA Director John Brennan

·       Former Director of National intelligence James Clapper

·       Former FBI Director James Comey

·       Former National Security Advisor Dir. Michael Hayden

·       Former National Security Advisor Susan Rice

·       Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe

All these individuals were partisan participants in the deep state corruption under the Obama administration. Personally, I think they should all be in jail.

        Judge Jeanine Pirro, the author of Liars, Leakers and Liberals, was a guest on The View.  Whoopi Goldberg went totally bonkers and kicked Pirro off the show and out of the building.   Goldberg was hysterical, irrational and didn’t want to hear or face facts.

        Whoopi was right about one thing.  She said this is the worst case of “Whipping up Hate” this country has ever seen.  She is right, but it is the deranged left that is whipping up the hate.  Their fascist tactics need to stop.

        The establishment’s corruption and abuse of power must be exposed.  The American people need to know the truth before this country is torn apart.  The FBI and DOJ presently have no integrity and because of that are not respected by the American people.

        This country is facing a critical test of our Constitution and the rule of law.  President Trump is the most transparent President we have ever had, but he needs to go further.  He needs to declassify all the documents that Congress has been requesting, all the FISA warrants for Carter Page, and all documents initiating the Mueller investigation.  Trump has the Constitutional authority and power to do this, and it needs to happen now.  Not six months from now.

What Do You Want in a President?

What Do You Want in a President?

Some of the things that liberals want are:

·       Female

·       Black

·       Gay

·       Some other  minority

·       Politically correct

·       Charismatic

·       Thoughtful

·       Kind

·       Empathetic

·       Serious

·       Polite

·       Idealistic

·       Respectful

·       Likable

·       Nice

·       Civil

·       Who can deliver a speech

·       Who promises medical insurance for everyone

    (Note that insurance does not mean health care)

·       Socialist

·       Who will give free everything

All of these things would be nice, but I really don’t put a high priority on any of them.  This is what I care about in a President:

·       Supports the Constitution

·       Separates the power of the three branches of government

·       In favor of a strong military and national security

·       Who will protect our borders and national sovereignty

·       Favors a smaller federal government with less controls

·       Believes in equal law and order for all

·       A strong economy

·       Full employment

·       Will represent all Americans equally

·       Get fewer people on welfare

·       Keeps campaign promises

·       Lower taxes

·       Achieve affordable health care for all

·       Be a world leader

·       Puts America first

·       Will develop fair trade with other countries

·       Will make other countries pay for their own security

·       Won’t be a globalist advocating wealth redistribution

President Trump may be blunt and politically incorrect and we may not like or understand his tactics, but he is what I want in a President.  He is exactly what the country needed at this time, and he is getting the job done.  We didn’t need a Mr. Nice Guy who does not address the problems, leads from behind, achieves nothing, and continues to hold this great country back.

Party Loyalty or Tunnel Vision?

        What makes a Democrat or a Republican?  It would be nice to think people made that decision based on the facts of what is best for the country.  That seldom seems to be the case for many people.  

        People raised in a family which has a strong party affiliation will support that party regardless.  I was raised in a family that voted for the individual and not the party, and I always considered myself to be an independent.  I have voted Democrat and Republican.

        My Dad used to make fun of party politic arguments at family gatherings, but only after coming home, because he was too polite to do it to their faces.  I am not that polite.

        People who are not controlled by their family are often influenced by their teachers or peers.  Our education system is definitely liberal.  Studies of universities show that a conservative professor is less likely to be given tenure than a liberal. Some universities don’t allow conservative speakers on their campus.  They only believe in free speech if it agrees with their political agenda.  I find this deeply disturbing because higher education should promote rational thinking.

        People are likely to agree with their peer group for many reasons.  It is easier to get along if you go along, and they only hear one side of the argument.  If an individual does not have time or interest in researching the political facts, it is easy for them to believe what their peer group spouts. 

        Many people are influenced by political advertising, and  that is why campaign fundraising is so important.  This would be okay if the ads presented the facts, but they don’t.  They are often misleading or outright lies, and people believe them because they are too busy or too lazy to get the facts. 

        Certain professions blindly follow one party or the other.  Government, education, unions, and the media tend to be liberal and Democrat.  Business, manufacturing, agriculture, and mining tend to be conservative and Republican.  Some contribute and some take.  Anyone see a pattern here?

        I recently saw a study that showed if first time voters voted for one party twice, they would vote for that party for life.  I find that lazy and scary.  Political Party leaders and platforms change.  Why would anyone blindly go along?

        I love Will Rogers’ political jokes.  He said he didn’t have a speech writer because Congress was good enough for him.  Rogers inferred that the Republican Party represented the rich and the Democratic Party was for the little guy.  That may have been true in the 30’s, but certainly is not true today.  Some individuals still feel that way, including some who are very intelligent. 

        Both parties have been for big government and the political elite.  Neither political party represented working America.  Fortunately, the American people had enough of party politics as usual and elected Donald Trump President.  Trump may be blunt, but he is working tirelessly to keep his campaign promises.

Democratic Party Platform

        The only Democratic Party platform seems to be fighting Trump.     They  talk  about  impeaching  Trump  in spite of  a special prosecutor investigation that has turned up absolutely nothing in more than a year. 

        Democrats have gone totally ballistic in their hatred of President Trump.  In spite of the totally obstructionist actions of Democrats in Congress, Trump keeps winning for the American people.  His achievements are driving the left crazy. 

        A few things Democrats represent:

·       Socialism

·       Vicious gang members like MS-13 who murder, rape, deal drugs and human sex slaves

·       Illegal immigration over legal immigration

·       A judicial system that is so far left that judges create laws from the bench rather than follow the Constitution

·       Oppose law and order like ICE

·       Defend corrupt government officials in the FBI, DOJ, FBI and IRS

·       Promote anarchy over law & order

·       Defend every special interest minority over the silent majority

·       Defend spying on political opponents

·       Liked it better when North Korea wanted us dead

·       More concerned with illegal immigrants and their children than American homeless and veterans.

·       Are against tax cuts. 

·       Prefer to keep certain minorities enslaved to welfare than create jobs for them

·       More big government

·       Government regulations that shut down the economy  

        Democrats appear to be out of ideas and leaders.  They are out of touch with America and are running out of money.  They need to change, because we need two political parties and they will become irrelevant if they don’t wake up.

        In the past, the Democratic Party has been capable of change.  They were a party of slavery and changed to a party that most blacks voted for.  They divided the country on race, sex, and special interest groups.  This worked for a while.  It elected the first black President who had no qualifications except for his color.

        They were confident the next President would be a woman with the help of the political elite, the deep state, and a ton of money, but the American people were fed up with politics that divided the country.  There is more to this country than New York City, Washington DC, Chicago, and California. 

        America elected a President who believes that all Americans are equal and puts America first.  And, he is keeping his campaign promises.  Politics have evolved.  I am not sure Republicans even recognize this yet, and the Democrats certainly do not.  They had better change if they want to survive.

Potential entrepreneurs need to think where they want to be in 10, 15, and 20 years.  Financial security, collage costs for children and, and retirement must also be considered.  There are franchises that are recession proof and can help folks control their future. 

Many first-time franchise owners are in their 40s and 50s.  They are reluctant to take a big risk, and that’s the beauty of franchising.  Owners have a system that’s already in place.  It’s not built around one person, as most small business are.  Many franchisees find peace of mind by using the Small Business Administration for loans.

The strength and viability of a proven brand reduce the risk of failure.  The probability is low when you follow the system.  Franchising give owners the option of going on vacation without the business falling apart.  It also creates value when it comes to selling and setting up an exit strategy.

I would like to add three important points:
