Our Country's 20 Greatest Threats

For several months, I have been writing and revising what I consider the most critical threats facing our great country.  Here they are in order of the most critical threats.

1.  Losing freedom of speech – Banning Conservative       speech and so-called hate speech.  – Even social media   is taking away free speech.

2.  Political correctness – Could take away our First     Amendment rights including freedom of speech – All   words have meaning & none should be banned.

3.  Control of schools by radical left – 90% are teaching   Marxism and socialist propaganda and not the 3 R’s,   history, or civics.

4.  Political apathy – The United States has been the leader   of the free world for over 100 years and people don’t   recognize that could change and we could lose our   freedom.

5.  Globalism - Unfair trade policies, deficit trade balances,   weapons industry, drugs trade, money laundering, and    lost control of medical & military supplies to China.

6.  The radical left changing or eliminating the Constitution,   Government Checks & Balances, the Electoral College,   and using impeachment for political reasons.

7.  Double standard for Rule of Law – No one should be   above the law.

8.  The Ruling Class - Oligarchs & big money controlling our   government.

9.  Corrupt Washington bureaucrats and the Deep State –   Working with no accountability for the ruling class and not   the people.

10.  A lying media selling the left’s propaganda

11.  Growing government & government debt – One of the
greatest fears of out founding fathers.

12.  Open boarders & sanctuary cities

13.  Loss of Second Amendment rights – This has nothing        to do with hunting.

14.  Party politics & corrupt politicians- Many POITICIANS        will do anything to stay in office, including using race to      divide the country.

15.  Socialism/Marxism – This is the ultimate end goal of the     left.

16.  Religious freedoms of Christians being taken away.

17.  Rising health care costs created by insurance companies and government.

18.  Declining work ethic, declining family values, and         increased welfare – Some urban areas have a 3rd                generation of welfare.

19.  War with Islam – This has nothing to do with race and is     a religious war fighting to convert the world by any
      means necessary.

20.  Lost financial security due to the insecurity of personal        and home devices.

21.  COVID-19 or some other virus

22.  Nuclear war

I listed 22 threats because I did not want to give the impression that I forgot the Wuhan virus or nuclear war which did not make my top 20 dangers.  I will be addressing each of these dangers individually in the future.

God bless President Trump and guide him to make America great again.

Trump did not bring division.  Division brought Trump.
If you don’t see that, then you’re part of the problem.

  1. You conveniently left out domestic terrorism especially the domestic terrorism among white supremacists and racists. Maybe you forgot it because your values align closely with theirs.

  2. Interesting list. Agree with a few of these threats, but not necessarily in order of significance. A new ranking is indicated at the end of each comment.

    1. Not a threat. Free speech is very well protected. So is dissent.
    2. Not a threat. No one is required to be politically correct. Objections to PC are protected by the first amendment.
    3. Not a threat. What is the source of 90% teaching propaganda?
    4. Agree, but do not see how it is related to loss of freedom or world leadership. 13
    5. Partial agreement but isolation is not a remedy. 14
    6. Not a threat. Amending the Constitution requires a ¾ approval by states. That provision is adequate protection against short term reactionary changes. Threat of elimination is absurd.
    7. Complete agreement and we need equal justice for all races, rich and poor. 8
    8. Agree. Corporations are not people. Citizens United must be struck down. 11
    9. Agree. Get the money out of lobbying. 10
    10. Not a threat. Media should be explained. There also is “right” media propaganda. It is up to the individual to utilize multiple sources of information to be adequately informed.
    11. Agree of national debt. Reduce defense spending and increase taxes on upper brackets. 2
    12. Agree in part. Immigration reform is badly needed. 9
    13. Not a threat. We can do without assault rifles in public hands. Background checks are necessary.
    14. Agree. The current White House is a prime example of the wrong way to do it. Vote. 12
    15. Not a threat. Needs explanation.
    16. Not a threat. Not a true statement.
    17. Agree. Insurance companies need to be eliminated. A single payer system would create competition among suppliers. 3
    18. Raise the minimum wage nationwide and level the playing field for minority job applicants. 7
    19. Not a threat. Remember the Crusades.
    20. Not a threat. Device protection is available. If one chooses not to use protection then choose not to have devices.
    21. Pandemics are a threat, even more serious when mishandled by poor government responses. 6
    22. Nuclear war is a threat which is why disarmament is so important. 4
    23. Climate change is causing ocean levels to rise and warming brings more prevalent extreme weather events. 1
    24. Voter suppression and foreign involvement in elections are serious threats. 5

  3. The #1 and #2 threats as presented on this list both address 1st amendment apparent concerns. They are hardly the top two problems.
Evidently the blog author wants to make sure hate speech is protected. It is.
Secondly, the author feels challenged by politically correct phrases. Those phrases and his stated objections are also protected.
Seems like the issue is not protection his opinion as free speech, but fear of disagreement.
