It
is time for some common sense. The
history of the world includes the Plague, the Black Death, the Spanish flu,
smallpox, tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, H1N1 in 2009, and many other pandemics. We will see more.
The
United States
We
all need to use common sense. Stay home
if you are sick. Cover your mouth and
nose when you sneeze or cough. Avoid
unnecessary international travel and air travel in general. The most important thing you must do is WASH YOUR HANDS.
It
is true that Coronavirus has and will cause death, but put things in
perspective. The flue kills more people
every year and people still don’t get the flu shot. Drugs kill even more people and some idiots
still advocate for open borders where the majority of the drugs enter our
country. Use of cell phones while
driving even kills more people, but people still do it.
Use some common sense.
Don’t panic. Buying a year’s
supply of toilet paper is not a solution.
That is just idiotic.

You are hilarious! The media is the problem? LOL. The mortality rate is higher on this strain of the flu than any other. If unchecked, it will kill more people than the Spanish Flu did in three years. And more importantly, those who do catch it will overload the medical system. You might want to read the John Hopkins Website and learn something that is NOT from a right wing website.

ReplyDeleteOn September 24 you made a point of recommending the Tucker Carson Show for viewing. You added this unattributed quote: “Sworn enemy of lying, pomposity, smugness, and groupthink.”
I trust you were watching your favorite show on Monday night of this week when Tucker went off on hoarding. He went off on the media criticism of hoarding. He claimed these were merely citizens doing what they can to “take care” of themselves and they should be praised for their actions. Throughout the monologue the repeated visuals were of empty market shelves which validated his suggestion that people were just doing the prudent thing.
This is as irresponsible as the President, who in mid-February said the U.S. only had 15 virus cases and it will soon drop to zero, while a time bomb was ticking. So much for closing the borders and not taking precautionary measures. Not to include the dismantling of the pandemic preparedness effort in 2018.
Not much common sense.
