We have been living with COVID for a couple years now. What have we learned? We have learned a lot, and some facts are irrefutable.
COVID
is a deadly virus that kills people. COVID
19 and the Delta variant are the most dangerous. The Omicron variant is the most contagious,
but the least likely to cause death.
Seniors,
obese people, and people with existing heath conditions are at the greatest
risk of dying from COVID. Healthy young
people may contract the virus, but the chance of death is minuscule. Many will never even know they had it if they
are not tested for natural immunity.
COVID
deaths are hard to track because half the reported COVID deaths are people that
died of other conditions and had COVID.
The actual number of deaths from COVID alone is probably around 50% of
the number reported.
We
now know the vaccines do not stop contracting or spreading the virus. Vaccines may reduce the severity and symptoms
of COVID.
Wearing
cloth masks is totally ineffective at stopping the virus spread. Surgical masks and some others may offer some
protection for contracting or spreading the virus.
The
data shows that shutting down the economy does nothing to stop the spread of
COVID. It does harm business owners and
individuals. The financial, health, and
emotional damage is incalculable.
Closing
schools is stupid and not supported by any science. It does damage the kids. They are much safer in school than at home or
on the street. Besides falling behind in
their education, suicides and drugs have increased. This is totally a political move by the
teacher’s unions which don’t give a damn about the kids. The damage to kids is criminal in my opinion.
It
is interesting that the CDC and government, with multi-million dollar budgets
and tens of thousands of employees, do zero studies on natural immunity. We have to rely on private studies or studies
from other countries.
We
have learned we cannot believe anything we hear from Dr. Fauci, the Center for
Disease Control, or the White house. Is
the government hiding the facts from the public to gain power, sell vaccines, intentionally
trying to destroy the country, or just totally incompetent?
We must fight for fair elections and
taking control back from the DC establishment and

A recent comment was offered by a retired physician on the opinion page of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. It read like this:
ReplyDeleteSt. Cloud, MN City Council member, Paul Brandmire, voted against a three-week mask mandate for public buildings because he has “yet to see a reliable study which proves that masks have any impact whatsoever.” I don’t know what he means by “reliable,” “proves,” or “any impact,” but I don’t think he does either. Anyone can go to Google Scholar and review many studies that show masks reduce airborne transmission of viral infections, which is how the majority of COVID cases are contracted. Studies specific to COVID Show that masking reduces transmission by about 60-70%
I don’t’ think he will find a controlled study where scientists expose viral particles with half of the subjects masked, and the other half unmasked, as that would generally be considered unethical. But if that’s the only study he would consider reliable, I suspect he does not want to know the answer.
So much for the blogger’s opinion on masks.
As for fighting for fair elections, what past election was unfair? Certainly not the 2020 election which was certified as the most accurate election ever as attested by the dismissal of 60 court cases. Calling for a "fight" is a word used by insurrectionists and should not be used to describe election monitoring.
