Pomposity

        Pomposity is behaving and acting in a pompous manner.  Pompous people think they are smarter than everyone else.  This is the basis of socialism.  Educators, the political elite, and the very rich do not think normal people are capable to make their own decisions.  They think the government needs to control every aspect of the peoples’ lives. 

        The goal of Tucker Carlson on his evening show is to be the “Sworn enemy of lying, pomposity, smugness, and groupthink.” I love this.  I hate the political lies, the arrogance and smugness of the liars, and how political groups repeat the lies.  Tucker Carlson does an excellent job of exposing these lies and liars. 

        There are several political shows that I recommend.  Jeanine Pirro’s Saturday Night show, Justice with Judge Jeanine, is always the number weekend cable show.  Mark Levin’s show, Life Liberty & Levin, on Sunday night is also fantastic.  He does in-depth interviews with one or two guests that are very informative.

        I strongly recommend all three, but Tucker Carlson is the only one on Monday though Friday.  If you have time for only one weekday news show, I would recommend Tucker Carlson tonight.  Anyone who distorts the truth is fair game for him. 

        Carlson agrees with and exposes both Democrats and Republicans.  Both sides appear on his show to tell their story.  Sometimes he agrees with both on certain points, but if they lie, he is blunt in exposing and ridiculing them. 

        Some people would feel this is not courteous or politically correct, but I love it.  I want the truth exposed, and the constitution and the law followed with equal justice for all.  I would also recommend Tucker’s book, Ship of Fools.

Gun Confiscation

        Some of the Democratic Presidential candidates are talking about gun confiscation.  This is crazy.  It would lead to a civil war in this country.  Many people will fight to the death before giving up their guns, and they should.

        The Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America states: 

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.

         

        There is no mention of hunting or self-defense.  The primary reason is protection from both foreign and domestic governments, and this should remain a concern. 

        The reference to a militia in the Second Amendment was not limited to a government military.  It referred to citizens that could and would defend their country. 

        A well armed populous is a protection from foreign invasion.  Isoroku Yamamoto was Commander-In-Chief of the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II:  He was aware of the civilian militia.  He said;

You cannot invade the mainland United States.  There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

       

        The threat from a domestic government was of even more concern for our founding fathers.  The intention of the Second Amendment is quite clear.  George Washington wrote:

A free people ought not only be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them which would include their own government. 

        “Their own government” is an important part of his statement.   What happens after the government takes away guns?  Here is a little history:  Look at what has happened in other countries when guns have been confiscated. 

·        1911 in Turkey:  1.5 million people killed by government

·        1929 in Soviet Union:  40 million killed by government

·        1935 in China:  50 million people killed by government

·        1938 in Germany:  13 million people killed by government

·        1956 in Cambodia:  One million people killed by government

·        1964 in Guatemala:  100,000 people killed by government

·        1970 in Uganda:  300,000 people killed by government

·        1994 in Rwanda:  One million people killed by government

        Some people think this could never happen in our country because it can only happen where political leaders and bureaucrats have a political agenda, feel they are above the law, are accountable to no one, and are corrupt. 

        Obviously, it could happen here.  We now know how government intelligence and law enforcement agency’s were used to try to unseat a sitting President.  This should scare everyone.  

        Congress is looking at banning certain guns like the assault rifle.  Most of these politicians can’t even define an assault rifle except it is a scary looking military type.  I didn’t see any exceptions in the Second Amendment for guns that looked scary, and it clearly protects the right to own military type weapons.   

        The mass shootings that have taken place are being used to justify gun confiscation.  Guns are only a tool.   If politicians are serious about stopping mass shootings they need to deal with the real problems like mental health professionals, schools, and law enforcement sharing and reporting dangerous individuals.  Every mass shooting could have been prevented if this had been done. 

        Background checks are also good, but existing laws have to be enforced.  80,000 felons attempted to buy guns and were denied, but only 44 prosecuted.  How many did buy a gun? 

        Remember, every time you hear a politician talk about more gun control and gun confiscation or buyback, it has nothing to do with stopping school shootings.  It is about total government control.  And, that is called socialism or communism.

Hurricanes

        With Hurricane Dorian damaging the east coast, Hurricanes are on our mind.  The lame-stream made fun of President Trump for saying maybe we could blow up a hurricane.  While that is not realistic, I do like people who think outside the box. 

        People who fight oil well fires sometimes put out the fire with an explosion.  The explosion sucks all the oxygen out of the air and the fire goes out for lack of oxygen.  Maybe some kind of explosion could create a vacuum that stops or changes the wind?  An explosion probably won’t stop a hurricane, but it makes a lot more sense than blaming the hurricane on man-made carbon emissions.  

        Trump definitely thinks outside the box.  He does not care what the press, the polls, his political opponents, the Republican Party, or his base thinks.  He does what is best for the American people. 

        Trump is not always politically correct in his speech or tweets.  I love that.  I think the current political correctness is actually a violation of our First Amendment guarantee of free speech, and one of the biggest threats facing this great country today. 

        Trump actually deals with problems this country faces like the economy, jobs, immigration, border security, illegal drugs, an unfair trade policy, and foreign allies not paying their fair share.  For decades, other Presidents just talked about these problems and did nothing.  It is so good to have a President that puts America first and represents ALL Americans equally.

         We obviously have had climate change ever since the earth was formed.  The area of the country where I live was covered by a glacier 25 million years ago.  That glacier melted.  What caused it to melt?  I don’t know.  It might have been the sun’s heat or the heat of the earth’s core.  The only thing we know for curtain is that man and man made emissions had nothing to do with it.

        I am sick of the climate change hoax.  The science is clear, and it does not show that man-made carbon emissions are the cause.  Try to find the source of the quote that 97% of all scientists agree that manmade emissions are the cause.  It cannot be done.  The Wall Street Journal ran a front page article on this on July 17, 2012. 

        The truth is that over 31,000 scientists including 9,000 PhDs signed a petition that states; “There is no convincing evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gases is causing or will cause, in the foreseeable future, catastrophic heating of the earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the earth’s climate.”

        The climate change movement has a very clear agenda.  It is:

·       A globalist economy at the expense of the current first world countries.

·    Income and wealth redistribution on a world-wide basis.  Of course, the super rich and political elite will be excluded.

·     Complete government control of every aspect of our lives including what you eat. 

·       No more personal freedoms. 

·       No more American dream. 

        It is clear the current left’s climate scare tactics have nothing to do with protecting the environment.  It is a socialist movement for power and an authoritarian government.

The 3 R's

        There was a time when the 3 R’s meant a basic education of reading, writing, and arithmetic.  When I was a kid schools also taught American history and civics. 

        Today most schools do a terrible job of teaching the basics.  Thirteen, Baltimore, Maryland high Schools did not have a single student who was proficient in math.  This is a disgrace. 

        Schools teach modified history to fit a progressive agenda instead of factual history.  If young people do not learn from history, how can they avoid the mistakes of the past?  100 million people have died under communism/socialism, but our youth is being brainwashed to think socialism is good. 

        Civics is not taught so many of our young get out of school with no idea how our republic works or why it has been such a success.  Some of our youth have been fed a lot of propaganda and advocate changes that our founding fathers warned would bring an end to the republic. 

        There are now 3 new R’s that are the agenda of the Democratic Party’s extreme left and the lame-stream media.  They are Russia, Racist, and Recession.  The left use anything to try to hurt President Trump. 

        Russia has now been shown to be a hoax, and there is no evidence that Trump is a racist.  Now they are trying to create a recession to hurt Trump in 2020.  They don’t care if a recession would hurt the American middle class.  They only represent the rich, political elite and globalists.

        Trump keeps winning in spite of the Democrats and the establishment.  Trump said we would get tired of winning, but America is not tired of winning yet.

        There is one other set of 3 R’s I want to mention.   Judge Jeanine Pirro has a new book titled Radicals, Resistance, and Revenge.   I have not read it yet, but if it is a good as Liars, Leakers, and Liberals, I can’t wait.

Sex Slaves

            We have a problem with slavery and sex trafficking in this country that does not get a lot of attention.  Jeffery Epstein was recently in the news because he was accused of being a pedophile and sex trafficking.  This was before he died in his jail cell.  How did he get away with it for so long?  Many rich and influential people had to know or at least suspect what he was doing.

        There are photos of ISIS sex slave auctions, but don’t think it is only in Muslim lands.  Human trafficking and slavery also exists in this country and it seldom is publicized. 

        4.8 million people are victims of sex trafficking, which is a $32 billion a year business according to the International Labor Organization.  Some estimates are as high as $150 billion a year.  Why is it not getting more attention? 

        Young girls are the most common sex slaves.  They are normally recruited when 12 to 14 years old.  Boys amount to less than 30%, and they are typically 11 to 13 years old.  Victims of sex trafficking seldom get out alive. 

         Living in a rural community does not mean kids are safe.  The internet and drugs cross all boundaries.  Parents sometimes turn out their kids for a fix.  Estimates are that one out of seven teen runaways end up a sex slave.  

        Our security problems with our southern boarder have also contributed to sex trafficking.  The cartels know people crossing the border illegally with small children are quickly released into the country. 

        Estimates are that one third of the children are not with family members.  If they are not separated, how are they identified?  What happens to them after they have severed their purpose?  They are a valuable product to criminals.

        Many young woman and girls are raped on their trek to the border.  Who is protecting them?  I get so sick of the liberal left using these children for their political agenda when they are actually putting them in danger by promoting open boarders and the sex trafficking business by their actions. 

        Our ridiculous immigration laws have been used as a political football long enough.  It is time to fix the problem.  The solutions are simple.  DO YOUR JOB CONGRESS.

Rules for Radicals Revisited

        I first posted about rules for radicals on February 4, 2014.  It is the left’s playbook, and we need to take another look at it.

        Saul David Alinsky (1909-1972) is recognized as one of the first and most prominent community organizers, starting in the south side of Chicago.  His work has worked out well for Chicago, right?  Community organizer Barrack Obama was strongly influenced by Alinsky’s ideas.

Alinsky was also a writer and published Reveille for Radicals in 1946.  He is often noted for his book Rules For Radicals, published in 1971 just prior to his death.    He said the book was written to show the “Have-Nots” how to take power from the “Haves”. 

        I was a collage student in the 1960’s and remember the student demonstrations protesting the Vietnam War and advocating many of Ailinsky’s ideas.  I was never involved in the demonstrations, because I was a full-time student and also worked full-time so I never had time or interest.  I  understood the Vietnam protests, but I dismissed Ailinsky’s radical ideas and felt the students influenced students would eventually grow up and become productive citizens. 

Saul Ailinsky advocated eight objectives for creating a socialist state.  They are:

1.   Healthcare - Control healthcare and you control the people.

2.   Poverty - Increase the poverty level as high as possible. Poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if they are provided everything they need to live. 

3.   Debt - Increase the debt to an unsustainable level.  This will justify increasing taxes, and thus produce more poverty.

4.   Gun Control - Remove the ability of the people to defend themselves against the government, and create a police state.

5.   Welfare - Take control of every aspect of people’s lives. (Food, Housing, and Income)

6.   Education – Take control of the media and what people read and hear, and take control of what children learn in school.

7.   Religion – Remove any reference to belief in God from government and schools.

8.   Class Warfare – Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor.  This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take from the wealthy with the support of the poor.  (Wealth Redistribution)

I think it is interesting that Saul Alinsky’s books have the word Radicals in the titles when his ideas sound like today’s Modern Progressives.  Have we moved too far left?  The left is adopting on all of Alinsty’s steps to socialism and have already achieved some of them.  America must wake up before it is too late.

Enough Division & Hate

        The Democratic Party has been the party of division for decades, and it has worked.  They have divided the country on race, sex, and any other special interest group they can think of to divide the country.  They elected a likeable but totally unqualified black President because he was black. 

        They planned to use division politics to elect a woman President and it almost worked.  There were two problems.  First Hillary Clinton was a terrible candidate, and second, Donald Trump wanted to represent all working Americans by putting America first.  Hillary probably could have beaten any of the other Republican establishment candidates.

        The left and the deep state were desperate to prevent Trump from becoming President.  Now they are desperate to impeach him and overthrow a sitting President.  When the Russia hoax did not work, they turned to calling him a racist.  Calling someone a racist or sexist is always the left’s tactic when they don’t have facts to support their agenda. 

        The Democratic Party has gone beyond division politics and has become the party of hate.  They call President Trump and anyone who supports him a white supremacist racist.  Calling all trump supporters racists and white supremacists is as stupid as saying all Muslims are terrorists or all people from south of the boarder are MS13 gang members.   

        Even the few rational people from the far left have acknowledged that nothing Trump has ever done has shown him to be a racist.  They even agree that nothing he has said or tweeted has ever shown him to be a racist if taken in strict context.  The radical left say Trump talks in code and people must read between the lines to determine what he really means.  They seem to be very talented at reading minds.   

        Trump does fight back when he is attacked and I don’t blame him.  I probably would not be as restrained.  The media promote the hate speech and hope Trump responds because it makes great headlines. 

        Blaming President Trump for mass shootings in Texas and Ohio for political purposes is despicable.  These shooters are mentally disturbed people who have nothing to do with politics.  Democrat’s hate talk is driving rational people away from their party.

        I initially wanted to say that calling President Trump a racist was unjustified, unwarranted, and hateful, but that would be as hateful as calling Trump and his supporters white supremacists and racist.  I have to pray for the people with Trump derangement syndrome that have been led astray by the hateful left and the media.   The left has to stop calling everyone they disagree with racist.
