AOC

        Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a U.S. congresswoman representing the eastern part of the Bronx and portions of north-central Queens in New York City.  She is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America and advocates progressive policies like:

·       Green New Deal

·       Medicare for All

·       Open borders

·       Abolishing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement

·       Free college for everyone

·       A 70% tax rate for the rich

·       Eliminating farting cows

        AOC is a socialist, but seems to have no idea how socialism works or the dismal failure of socialism historically.  She seems to be unaware of how socialism took Venezuela from the richest country on South America to people starving ten years later.

        She graduated cum laude from Boston Collage in 2011 with majors in international relations and economics.  She needs to get her money back.  She clearly has no understanding of basic economics or international relations.     

        It is impossible for any socialist country with open borders to survive.  Socialist countries always fail.  They take, take, and take until everyone is living in poverty except the government officials who live in luxury.  Complete government control leads to corruption, and eventually, dictators.  It usually requires bloodshed to return to some form of democracy.  Don’t buy the B.S. argument that they are talking Democratic Socialism.  There is no difference.

        AOC is constantly on the news and I can see why.  She is a joke.  Saturday Night Live can’t compete with her.  She wants big government to control every aspect of our lives.  I hope this is not where the Democratic Party is headed.
